For some reason the section at 2:51 reminds me of a level in doom, its awesome, the drums are good, and I don't get tired of them.

0:00-Interesting start; think the drum was a little too hi-frequency and loud in relation to the other things
0:24-Interesting change in pace. Drum is still the problem for me, needs more than one sample. Strings could also do with being a touch louder, and maybe cover the bass frequencies a little more as theyre catered for only by the drum as it is
1:11-Some kind of bass comes in here which is cool, nice transition overall
1:21-Interesting break to a quieter section, nice flute/string work.
1:58-The drums here do nothing but help the song drag, a lot. Drums are your biggest and kind of only problem, for me. You've got a nice melody going, but it's completely dominated by the drums.
2:25-Like the change in melody here.
2:39-Nice break for the quieter section, but the drums have the machine-gun feel when they do come in.
3:03-Melodically this part needed something else in it apart from just the quiet strings and lead.
3:27-Bell addition is good, though they don't seem to have any sustain on them.
3:54-You get this kinda sense of build, which is cool
4:04-Whoah xD That's a change in pace. Again, possibly needs something else to flesh the texture out a little more for the melodic parts.
I'll not labour the point any more, but the drums need a second look. Having the one note at the one loud dynamic throughout is incredibly monotonous, and wrecks what sounded like a pretty cool track underneath.

Well
-Like the guy below me it does have subtle similarities in the tone and pace of the song to the Ho-oh song that it plays in pokemon. It brings back memories of when I had a gameboy advanced and would play fun little rpgs all the time.
-It's a good listen for the most part. The intro to the song is the best in plain artistry and gets away without having any other instruments. The only problem is when the drums do get introduced they get old fast. The drums are very monotone and the only difference from one beat to the next is how fast they are hit from one another. They stay at about the same volume and sound the entire time.
-While the song does pick up some going into the fourth minute of the song most of the beginning sounds similar. Yes, there is variation in the speed of the drums from time to time and the melody fluctuates slightly it gets boring. Try adding more variation to your songs in different instruments and sounds instead of trying to overdue the same instruments and sounds at different paces.
