So the other day I decided that my analogue recordings sound like shit, so I moved on to direct-in recording. I composed this instrumental mainly out of testing out the new sounds and effects that were now at my disposal. No longer can I hear the sound of my fingers and pick hitting the strings. I think this is an improvement. Musically, I'm not sure what to name this instrumental. I want to write lyrics for it and finish the project, but for now feedback from the listeners at Newgrounds will do.

Methinks you mislabeled it. It's metal, but it's just not heavy enough for Heavy Metal. I liked most of it; there were some parts, though, where you went from no/little action to full again, where it seemed iffy.

Hey man, thanks for the review. I was just wondering what you meant by "go heavier". If you meant drop-tuning lower (which I didn't do at all), I would under normal circumstances be in drop C tuning. Problem is the particular guitar I'm using. Floyd Rose tremolos are aggravating at best.
