hey thanks dude, the background string comes out of the vanguard vst..
just EQ'ed + filtered -> to a level that sounds allot more trancier then it did standard.

I gotta' say first up. You've outdone the original. xTc created a great melody but the patches he used didn't do it justice I believe. However, the stabs used in this really bring out the beauty of the melody.
As per usual, you've found a nice balance between the elements of the track. Having the melody upfront and keeping the drums and percs sitting in the back of the mix. This ensures a strong atmosphere.
If I have anything to comment on, it would be that it does sound a little over-compressed but it could just be my laptop speakers. Either that or it's because this isn't full quality. It don't matter though, it's a great track and only makes me more eager to hear what you'll make next. Take care.

well, i dont know about you but if you wanna EQ, atleast thats what i do, you start with a kick, followed by cymb's / perc's ect then you go for a bass, maybe a lead ore something, and then for a final touch, the PAD
