Ive been lsietning to Metalcore music lately and I figured I would try and write a song that kinda suits it.. Tell me if I'm going in the right direction with this or just heading for complete failure..
Also keep in mind none of this has been properly mixed or mastered.. just a rough draft

It sounded sort of like metal core besides the fact that it didnt have lyrics xD
Usually metalcore is fast with like the drums going crazy-ish o.o i wish it had that really strong tone with the bass like in heavy metal. It lacked that uhh ROAR o.o

I'll say it more power metal. I like the arpeggios u use ^^. The piano and bass in the begining sounds really cool. What equipment and softwares do you use? If you need some tips and hints on recording, feel free to pm me!

For my drums,piano,bass and other misc stuff I use Fruity Loops 5... For my multitrack recording I use Adobe Audition 3.. and my guitar setup is a Fender Squire with PAF Joe satriani Neck pikcup and Evo2 Bridge pickup running through a POD 2.0...

I'm not sure about the whole subgenres of metal and what exactly all of them mean or are...to a point.
That said, I enjoyed this, dude. I would look forward to the finished product, for sure. (And would also expect a PM) haha.
