good
+10 for the quality, -3 for the shortyness = 7, still a good job
For quite a while I'm working at the choir sample set, trying to find the best way to make it "speak".
After recording the choir, the patch was developed together with Richard Osborn for Mu.Lab Multisampla and Selcuk Bor (aka Maestro Rage) for Kontakt.
Choir:
Citrina - soprano & alto
Jelena - alto
Roman & Dimitri (Timohi) - tenor
JonnyZed - tenor
Mihai (sorohanro) - tenor & baritone
Track sequenced in Mu.Lab.
Track composed by Mihai Sorohan in 2010.

brilliant
i can see this becomming very useful, its the biggest problem with vocal samples, the no vowel part.. makes them only fit in the background but with something like this you can actually make more of an actual choir with it.
This week I hope I'll finish the last part (the "U" patch) and launch it :)
Thanks for review.
Very Original.
I've never heard something like this before. I would have never thought to recorded a choir and turn it into this masterpiece. I think it would help if you added some lower parts(Bass) in the arrangement, to get a more powerful heavy bottom feel.
Overall, Great great idea. I love it.
It's just a short/ fast demo of the choir library I'm making.
I recorded all the sounds of singers separately and on different vowels, then I put the sounds in different samplers and crossfade between vowels to make it "speak".
Maestro Rage made a patch for Kontakt where crossfading function is mapped to the mod wheel.
Nice
Sounds great, I can't wait for it.
1 or 2 weeks, no more :)
Kontakt patch can be played also with the Kontakt Player (free) but after 30 minutes gets in "demo mode" and you'll have to restart it.
The Mu.Lab patch can be used in Mu.Lab free without any limitation ;)
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
