A popular track off a mixtape project I released on my 19th last month.

I've basically spotted a few 'modern' hip-hop tracks on Newgrounds - they weren't particularly my cup-of-tea; we cover different styles so it's all fair enough. So this is something a little different for anyone that's interested.

The lyrics detail the feelings I carried as I started to pursue this hobby and as I was growing up. It's a big chunk of a five-years worth of emotions and thoughts, and has some pretty deep subliminal messages.

I'm strictly amateur and won't pretend to be otherwise, apart from a few gigs and contacts this is just a hobby - hence the recording quality not being perfect.

I hope you guys enjoy it, if anyone's interested in my music contact me, we can have a chat and I'll throw the download link for the whole project at you. This probably won't be the last time I upload to Newgrounds - got some stuff specifically for you guys in the works.

I liked this a lot, and I agree that its different than the usual. I didn't like the weird echo or reverb effect that existed on some of your lines, it made it sound a weird. It sounded cool at times, but it should be a little lower since it makes it hard to hear.

Your flow was really good, I liked that. I liked the beat a lot too.
In response to your review on my song, what is a lofi effect because I don't believe I applied anything like that to my vocals.

Anyways, good work and thanks for your review on my song again.

Yeah, I'll agree with you there. Still working on my EQ mastering and such - I can't always get my adlibs right which is probably what you're getting at. I'll have people to do it for me from now on though!

Trying to think of the best way to describe a lofi effect - think the effect a voice gets when talking on the phone or something, that's the best way I can explain it. It may have been the mic in your case but I didn't think the quality was natural. S'all good anyway mate.
