An old beast that I've been munching on for a while now. Scored for Flute, Oboe, Bb Clarinet, 2 Horns, Harp, Full Strings. Finally finished it after my latest lineup of time-occupiers became bland. I have to thank the almighty Rimsky-Korsakov for teaching me the ways of classical orchestration (and by that I mean his manuscripts on how to orchestrate that have been translated).
All I ask from you the listener is some feedback, be it positive or constructive. Anything beyond that is great, including sharing with friends, favoriting, or even using it in your flash.

It is certainly a nice and relaxin piece, but it lacks somewhat in substance at times, if you could keep the strings playing as part of the background on certain parts it would feel a bit less empty, the later part of the piece suffers less from this.
Asides from that, great usage of flutes, really fits well with the other instruments.

Perhaps a bit of EQing for depth, or the layering of string/wind samples might help with your point instead of adding more strings. I've tried adding more in the later portions, but with very poor results. =\
Anywho, thanks for the very specific advice - I've found that nothing helps me more than that.
