Subway of souls...like that ghost train from final fantasy!!! :D
Now, onto the review. It's a very intelligent sounding theme, if anything, I always think more about strategic geniuses duking out rather than Casper the Tank Engine, and I love it. I swear, the buildup to the theme is just SO FREAKING GREAT, it's like a stephen king novel, SO MUCH BUILDUP! The drum sounding noises, the sections of just ghostlike sounds, the mysterious yet awesome feel to it, It's stephen king buildup all over. Though, just like a stephen king novel, you might have built up the finale a little TOO well. The finale was...good, but nothing compared to what the buildup was giving me thoughts of. The sound quality is MUCH better than the spire, however, so that gives it a lot of bonus points there. However, this suffers from one major downfall: Abrupt ending. It's not that it ended too quickly, hell, it's pretty long. But the ending just...ends it. It was VERY abrupt, and I didn't like it. Then again, that's what looping's for.
So, All in all, I like to think of this as the Autopsy Room Four of music. An interesting premise and theme, that gives a LOT to work with, and goes above and BEYOND with building up to what it's going to be. It makes my nerves tighten just thinking about the payoff, and hypes me up for about FOUR HOURS!!! which, of course, makes it all the more rage inducing when I'm given a good but not godlike ending, they flew too close to the sun with their buildup, making a good ending look less than it is. Not to mention, just the abruptness of the ending, it's like a deus ex machina. But the buildup, my god, the BUILDUP makes it all worthwhile, and I can't say that about many other things OTHER than a good stephen king story. GOOD SHOW, mate! 4.5 out of 5, Good job!
