A solid piece for all you folks out there, my first venture into using some more regular chord structures (at least at the beginning).
UPDATED: Fixed the ending and did some cleaning and such.

A Flute
I think accentuates a female, so maybe a beautiful princess in my opinion. A King should be loud, proud, and filled with power. He's the manager of a country. A King walks into the room or is played in by loud horns and stuff.
Otherwise, very nice piece, not too much else to say about it.
As the theme evolves into the second part at around 0:43, a trumpet comes in (I have just updated the song to a better export), and takes over the theme. I see the trumpet as the voice of the nobility and the glory we associate with mythical kings of days long gone, like the roar of a lion, while the flute symbolizes honesty and the truth that no king can pass on his crown without a queen.
Or, at least, that's my interpretation. Thanks for the feedback, and if you have any suggestions for a possible replacement that wouldn't too greatly offset the strings, I would be more than glad to try it out (french horn perhaps?).
