Not bad
It's not horrible, but yes I agree that it sounds simliar to that of a Megaman game or some other older game with almost 8-bit music. Maybe try an 8-bit or Atari-style song next.

I've decided that based on how my last song did, I should stick to loops for a while, get that down, and work my way back up to songs. The melody I found on the internet, and I decided that it could be usable with a little work. The piano, bass and drums are all my touch.
