As far as the main theme is concerned, you did alright. You missed a beat or two in the beginning, but it still sounds up to par with the other remixes. Again, I do feel that it's "incomplete," and that it's missing some instruments. But since it's only your second remix, I'll cut you a little bit of slack. On a side note, it sounds a little bit like an 8-bit theme. :)

I do encourage you to keep going; you got a good eye for tones and themes, and that will definitely help you out. However, if you want the best ratings, I would add more instruments to give it an even better result. Sure, it's more work. But hard work pays off, and the more you input, the more than likely you'll get the best results. I do see you plan to remake this, and I encourage that; you can do this song more justice than only this, and I can tell because of the great tone you provided here.

Percussion somewhat lacking

I like that you based on the SNES version rather than the weird Playstation version. My only problem with this one is that it seems to be lacking in percussion. Other than that, Perfect.
