totally epic music. i can see this being in sonic adventure.
When i was a kid me and one of my best childhood friends Alex used to play Sonic The Hedgehog on the Sega Genesis. We loved the whole sonic universe. I only had a genesis since we were kind of poor, but Alex had every console as soon as it came out. One of the things I loved about the sonic games was the music, infact I wanted to learn how to play guitar just so I could play music from STH.
Now that I've been playing guitar for a while, I've decided to go ahead and do what I've been intending to do since I was in elementary school. This is the first of a series of covers I'll be doing.
Stage 3 on STH2 was always one of my favorites, the music was so great and the level design was great. It has to be one of my favorite stages in the game.
I played the bass and guitar parts. I learned, recorded, and mixed this in exactly 2 hours and 23. minutes.
This track has been reuploaded, I've fixed a few things and added some more to the track to give it more of a complete feel.
totally epic music. i can see this being in sonic adventure.
LAL!
nothin more only LAL!
Pretty nice
However as MetalJonus said it doesn't feel like you really put your soul into this as in your were not feeling completely enthusiastic about doing this piece. However I will say it is a wonderful cover of one of the more sadder pieces from the game. Have no idea why but that happened to be one of the areas I was never very good at and would spend a long time simply trying to beat the second part before getting to the boss.
The guitar her sounds very nice and I enjoy the soft blues feel it has. The bass line is very simple and provides a back bone for the beat. The drums sound pretty cajun but very good here so you did a pretty nice job all in all with this even if you did not give it your all.
Overall, nice cover.

Thanks for the honesty, I'll try to put more emotion in the next one.
Cool
Everything sounds good man but you really should put some more soul into your vibrato lol. I guess I am sucker for good vibrato it adds way more emotion into the mix if you do it right. I do love me some sonic though I got a fair share of sonic stuff check em out most of them are pretty old and I do plan on redoing some in the near future. The mix sounds pretty crisp and the levels are all pretty good maybe a little bit more low in the bass would be cool but other than that good remix!

Thanks, that means a lot coming from you. I agree about the vibrato, some reason I just didn't do it as well (or at all) this time.
Thanks for the review, I'll keep your tips in mind on my next one.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
