Here's another requested remix! This particular request was made by Martin, and it's the *deep breath* Splash Hill Zone Act 3 theme from Sonic the Hedgehog 4. Whew!
Like so many video game background themes, the original version is incredibly short. I padded it up by starting out with a pretty fair representation of the original, and then I added some fun changes of my own. It's still only a little over two minutes, but I like it! Oh, and I've never actually remixed anything from a Sonic the Hedgehog title, so this was a new experience. I also needed to do some research on the original song since I had never played the game itself. For all that, I think it came out pretty nicely! Let me know if you agree.

other than the legend of zelda and kh bits OH MY GOD A REMIX OF A GAME I HAVE ACTUALLY PLAYED! it seemed a little smooth for the chaos that the gameplay takes you one but still very nice

Just to say that i like your music. It really represent the splash hill zone greatly. I just have the image off a ''Retro-fat'' Sonic running around the level.

A retro fat Sonic, you say? Admittedly, I haven't really been much of an avid Sonic the Hedgehog gamer, but even I can remember him being a bit pudgier once upon a time. I did always wonder how a dude who runs so blindingly fast could possibly have that kind of gut on him, so I guess it makes sense that he's slimmed down some over the decades. Or maybe Sega just didn't want their hero to look as chubby as Mario...?
