Here's another fun departure piece, something of an homage to the Old West and its shoot-first-ask-questions -later politics. It may be somewhat unorthodox Country, but since it's sort of inspired by old Spaghetti Westerns and similar genre, I guess that'll do. I had a lot of fun putting this one together, and was greatly inspired by such classics as A Fistful of Dollars starring Clint Eastwood.

The primary focus is on acoustic guitar, but there's so much more to it than that. Go on and give it a listen, why don't ya? Feedback is welcome, so let me know what you think with your votes, reviews, and even a PM or two if you so desire. Fire away.

Departure is right! Right into the old west ;) This is a song I can crawl right into and happily bump along for the ride! The whistling gives just the right effect for a definite culture shift. I can feel that sand getting into the cracks and crevices and beginning to fill the toes of my boots. There's a wistful air to the song too. A lonely cowboy under the big western sky filled with stars...

ChronoNomad responds:

You know it, li'l darlin'! *tips hat* Thank you kindly for another fine review.

I'm really glad that you enjoy the classic old west vibe! It is a very fun ride, heading right on out into the desert, riding off solemnly into the sunset. There's always something a bit wistful when it comes to the romantic notion of being a cowboy in the untamed west, I think. Can you imagine how big and bright that star-filled expanse of sky would seem in comparison to our world of big cities, tall buildings, and deluge of electric lights? Why, that thought alone gives me wistful pangs for such a beautiful, untainted land.

classic so old just <3 thes song old days are the best good work!

ChronoNomad responds:

Thanks! Who doesn't love a good old fashioned Western? :)

The whistling adds a nice effect.

ChronoNomad responds:

I'm glad you dig it, man. I've always been rather partial to that whistling bit, myself. Thanks for the four-star review! :)

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII...

THINK ITS AWESOME!!!

ChronoNomad responds:

You're awesome.

i would have had the guitar louder

but you still had the envisionment down to a tee

ChronoNomad responds:

I would have liked to, but the samples just weren't that loud to begin with. If only I had an actual guitar... *sigh*
