Maan, the mocking barbershop in the background made me laugh, especially mixed with the terrible grammar.
Still, we must admit, there's quite a poeticality to this text.
EDIT 6/13/11: OKAY so I've received some less-than-good feedback from a few sources and I think I need to make something clear: We are being very, very sarcastic about all of this. With that in mind, please enjoy!

We both were incredibly inspired and awe-struck by this fantastic poem by the wonderfully talented Jake Whitney. He wrote this after an especially disturbing time in his life. His world was shattered when he was rejected by his (at the time) highschool girlfriend. They are no longer together, but Jake's passion lives on through his words.
Matt Hutchings recites the poem.
David Hutchings (seireth.newgrounds.com) does the background ambience and music.
This is the first time David and I have done something like this. It was a lot of fun, but it was incredibly difficult.

Good text.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
