something for any of you who make a retro vampire game, "hisss"
Track based on a 'walking around the curfew'ed rich mans areas of a city infested with vampires, now we all know victorian vampires like high society party's but they are also some vicious conspirators amongst eachother, and one of the family feuds recently escalated..
You are the son of the lord leading the 'blaanc' family, one of the most powerful vampire families in town wich has though very limited some resistance to the sun.. but after a midnight party you come home to find your family villa ransacked and a note on the floor reading: "We have slain your father, heir to the blaanc, if you know what is good for you you hand over your territory peacefully, signed: the victorian family alliance"
The victorian family alliance?.. it consists of the most powerful vampires in the city..
The wraith family consisting of crawlers (weak yet agile type of vampire) located in the human region.
The bark gargoyle family consisting of demona (evolved strong type of vampire) located in the hedge garden region.
And the horror family consisting of the most rich and powerful in the whole city, (though rare, ancient vampire) located in the villa region.
Each of these led by powerful lords respectively..
Surely.. one of these must have done this.
You set out, armed with your slight resistance to the sun, and thirsty fangs.. for vengeance.
----
Would this be an actual game you would be able to stay in the sun for a limited time depleting a small bar that will recharge itself slowly again, while you can survive for a bit enemies can not.. slaying an enemy would have to be done by either throwing them into the sun or slowly beating them.
humans ofcourse can be eaten for a recharge of hp, vampire lords (bosses) however cannot be killed by sun as they would only be 'encountered in special locations complimenting their abillity's.
for instance:
Lord Wrierledaq would be fought at the gate to the garden lvl/region, this gate is like an arc and will provide enough shadow, the trick would be that this fight would be a time-sensitive fight, you have to fight him until the sun comes up and changes the direction of the light, wich would make the arena smaller and smaller until he has nowhere else to go, with just a little bit of shadow left to hide he would give up (equalling a time-up, wich is a positive thing here) and hand you the key to the gate.
Wrierledaq cannot be 'killed' by the sun as he cannot be 'hit'.
Lord Bostangret (lord of the bark gargoyle family) would be fought at night, youll have to apply fire to the whole hedge garden to kill him, it could be a pushed sidescrolling / run type of battle in wich you need to evading his attacks while you run through the garden and punch braziers to the ground.
Lord Ferfiël (lord of the horror family) i havent really thought of yet.
