After hearing the lyrics, I feel that under the lyrics, you're missing the 'her' for the sentence that should be, "How long can HER mind suffer" instead.
Such a lovely and touching song though. Your voice is amazing.
Lyrics:
The pain is everlasting
The cure cannot be found
She's one foot on her own and;
One foot in the ground
How long can mind suffer
Each day there's something more
The med's don't help, they cover
A band-aid to this sore
The bruises are reminders
That within she is torn
The needle's broke the surface
Each stab became a thorn
She's like a garden flower
The sun can burn her ground
To save her comes a shower
Too much and she will drown...

I had a small health scare recently - Let me just put this out there; I really don't like needles.
I honestly think I'm fine, so there's no cause to stress about anything :) I guess I just owe you all a reason for making such a long, sad song. Though I'd like to think by the end of the track, I manage to turn the emotion into a more hopeful one. *wink

Could listen just to the "breathing" sounds all day, like some kind of relaxing ambiance. Is beautiful.
I'm absolutely in love with this. Really well done.
I first heard this in Myosotis and fell in love with it. Your voice is a gift to the world!
