Now, I have never heard the original for this rendition, so I''m gonna have to review it as a standalone track.

And I don't think it's too bad. It's quite reptitive, but I know Luigi's Mansion has something to do with ghosts, and I feel the track really relays that. However, the strings are so high-pitched it kind hurt my ear at times, which is never a good thing. The rhythmics that joined in were pretty cool, but they somewhat ruined that feel, making it more of a joyful track, joking around.

The track loops pretty well, not really much to say on that.

Oh yes I did I have some good times playing that game. Would be cool if you did a cover of the beta title track in the future too. It sounded similar but had a bit darker tone to it as well. This is a really nice remake though, sounds awesome.

The stringed instrument sounds great here. The bass line is pretty smooth and helps the tune move along, possibly a trombone? The drums are very nice and help give a good back beat for the tune too. Scratch and DJ sounds were also a nice touch. I think you did well here.

Overall, awesome remix of a good title beat. Now to go find Mario in the mansion. Also nice loop.

Hmm...

First impression: VERY high strings, they annoy me, unfortunately. The percussion is nice. The cello sounds pretty darn good. Not quite realistic, but good.

Second impression: At 0:40, it opens up more. The percussion at this point sounds odd with the tune and strings, albiet them being synth strings. At 1:10, it goes into another section. The high strings phase with the cello. A LOT. It was also extremely high-pitched, which made my head hurt. High-pitched synth strings = Headache.

Overall impression: This needs a lot of work. I'd bring better strings into it, and have a bit less phasing, as well as changing the percussion and effects to suit it more. That is, if you're going to keep the strings the same. Otherwise, I'd make it more upbeat and have full-on synths and pads to carry the melody and bass. As it is, it's two different songs trying to mix together, and it doesn't succeed all that well... Hope this critique helps, I personally think that if this were redone, it would have a lot more merit.
