Sooo yeah, a different sort of song to what I usually make (again) which is what this album seems to be about now that I think about it...
This song features some good old-skool Sytrus Acid sounds and of course my favourite CVPiano plugin.
No Vocals this time thankfully, shes all song this time.
The parts at 0:58 and 2:31 where the melody changes might be changed in the final product upon Album release, I'm not too satisfied with how it progresses...

Very Good
Gives that electronic rock feel, only without the guitars. I like the tension created in the beginning and how it builds to a melody at 0:59. It is very catchy. The keys in the beginning could sound better, towards the end they sound much better (maybe an EQ/mixing issue?). I like the sounds you use at 2:34 and this is my favorite part of the song. In my collection for sure.
Thanks man, yeah Ive been playing around with this basic yet suspense tune for a few months and only decided the other day to really try to work with it.
I had some fun in trying to create some different sounds too ^_^
The reason why the Piano sounds "better" at the end is because the main melody is an octave or two higher than the melody throughout the song.
The EQ is the same the whole way through, sadly, I'm only using a free VST plugin (CVPiano) which does have it's own flaws but it's still the best free Piano VST that I've found so far.

This specific piece did indeed lock me in a trance of an eerie, yet understanding feeling. The feeling behind the piece reminded me of the uneasy emotions of when a close friend reveals a deep secret to you, although the overall sound and flow would remind me more of the end theme of a tragic death in a movie (or possibly a game), but then it wil lead to good conquering evil. Nice work!
Yeah, I kinda went for the suspenseful-kinda game tune for this, I might or might not use it in my portfolio when applying for jobs as apart of game's music production team.
But right now my ambition is nothing more than a mere dream ^_^;
It's nice to compose something that's different and completely un-mainstream, the only downfall to that is it's not really sought-after...
