I'm actually quite proud of this piece. It was after one of the times I lost everything on my harddrive, including samples and whatnot. So the drums sound a little odd/different because of that. This, along with most of the next pieces I'ma upload, was created several years ago, but was never published because...I forgot? Something like that. I don't know. Hopefully I'll get back on the ball with making music again.
Anyways, this song is actually a little odd, since it is made of two tunings: drop A and drop C. Drop C is the dominant, but the riff that repeats (especially at the end) was made first and is in drop A, but the rest was done in C. So, that makes it a little odd to play, but it still sounds cool. And I had a little too much fun with the tempo changes at the end. It's just, the riff sounded so nice in all those different speeds, so I just had to show them all off! >_>
Also, this song was inspired by Job For a Cowboy (mainly Entombment of a Machine) and Impending Doom (especially Silence the Oppressors and my favorite, More than Conquerors). JFAC is apparent in the beginning riff and a few other parts, and ID also inspired the beginning riff as well as (mor like, "especially") the breakdown in the middle. And the multimeter and polyrythm sections were inspired by Meshuggah and August Burns Red, respectively.
Not that you care. Just throwing that out there.

Anyways, enjoy the song!
Rate 5s, review 10s, and encourage me to make more! And to finally do good songs with the actual electric guitar, now that I finally have one!!! :D Yay! I mean, METAL!!! \m/ >_< \m/

Stay brutal, everyone.

P.S. My personal favorite, and slightly unintentional, thing in this song is the second note that the string patch does at about 0:47 right before it goes into the "chorus" part. Hope you notice it and enjoy as much as I do! :)

I agree with BloodBrother911

It is heavy stuff. (sometimes not heavy enough for me) But heavy it is. There are some parts that need improving from my standpoint/listeningpoint, but other than that, it's a fine day to love metal.

Aslan-Emanuel responds:

Kind of like how today is a good day to die? Lol.
I'll keep making heavier and heavier shit...or, rather, music. I'd rather not make heavier shit, upon further pondering. That'd hurt like a bitch. Not that I know how much a bitch hurts, but who cares?!

Thanks for the awesome review!

Stay brutal! \m/

\m/ Heavy brutal, Ohhrah

This is heavy stuff, I could see flashes be made with this. I don't want to give ya perfect :3 5/5 10/10.

Sounds heavy like I said. It is rocking headbagging.

:3 But I don't give perfects for everyone. This is good.

Aslan-Emanuel responds:

I'm glad you didn't give a perfect, simply because this song is not perfect. But thank you so much for your good review. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Download it so I can haunt you everywhere you go! Muwahaha!
Anyways. I hope to redo this using real instruments (at least a real guitar), so it'll sound even better, hopefully.

Stay brutal! \m/
