Codename suffering?
Not my kind of song, but I had to comment on the name.
Please turn the volume up on your headset for best results.
This was conceived towards September last year, but at the time, my backing music was done in Mario Paint Composer. This was my first (and so far, only) attempt at making a constructed language. I called it "Sauveterrane" (say SOVE-terra-NAY), and it had elements of English, French, Malay, Breton and Welsh. And the occasional Hymmnos reference.
The reason why I wrote this song? Because I imagined a person - a young girl - being led to the stake to be burnt after having refused to recant on her convictions. I thought of the martyrs, who calmly sang even in their immense pain.
This song was initially supposed to be in Hymmnos, and I would have called it "METHOD.over.EXEC_TAIZE/.", but after a friend advised me against using a language which was meant for the Ar Tonelico series, I decided to make my own conlang and try to heighten those feelings.
Then several months later, I decided to remake this on FL Studio 10 for the Project Chaplaincy OST.
All vocals done on Audacity.

Yes, because of the story behind the song (if this were a YouTube video, I would have the lyrics and translation together).
Really sweet idea. Good sense of melody. Biggest problem with the track is that perhaps your vocals never really climaxed. That high note around 1:40 was great and I just wish your overall mix popped your vocals out a bit more. The music was awesome just maybe the mic or somewhere in your mix needed to be a build to an uneffected vocal BLAST. Something that screamed, RAWR CHECK OUT THIS AWESOME NOTE!! You know? I really like the concept though. Great job! :)
Thank you! ^^ And you're quite right about the vocals. One of my biggest fears is that I would end up popping the mic. :S I'll be glad to hear any pointers about that -- I've got an integrated mic, can't afford a good one yet.
Once again, thank you so much for the review!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
