Someone asked me to make this - another person who was looking for a video game soundtrack. This may be edited/extended in the future. I basically got bored today and decided to get it out of the way... :P

I tried to make this more glitchy and use a different style than normal. Gross Beat and dblue_glitch were the main two VST used. I also decided to try out the Morphine demo. Unfortunately, the demo has static every once in a while that cuts out the normal instrument, and also won't save the instrument if you close out of the project. So I had those limitations to look out for. :< Fortunately, the static kind of works with the song, but I guess I'll need to get the full version if I want to use it for the kinds of songs I normally make.

All of the arpeggios were done by hand, not randomized or arpeggiated.

Oh, and finally, it loops cleanly.

Something differant here

Hmm so this was notbad i like the odd and strange sound syou have mixed in this tune lots of goodmixes, i could see this being used in some battle stick flash or sci-fi flash entry, you have agood mixture of differant sounds and such, it really keeps you wondering whats going to be next, i think you have something good here, as for improvment i dont know i think i like it the way it is.

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
I wouldnt mess with it too much, maybe add some sort of "ECHO" effect in the backround but otherwise its pretty good.

Awsome sound design, you never stop impressing me!!! For me its perfect, i cant say anything i disagree here, its totally awsome! Its impressive how you made the arpeggios by yourself, it says a lot about your skills! i envy you now! :D

Dude, these are just random preset synths from Morphine. xD Though the rhythmic bounciness of the pad and the main 'lead' coming in at 0:26 WERE done by me, and that mean 'lead' is another preset (from Sytrus though) that I edited some. As for the giant bass pad, that was just another preset... :P

What I DID do was layer all the effects on it in the mixer, which took a good while.

This song has an awesome feel to it and sounds like it would make an awesome cosmic boss battle theme too. Very awesome song, I like it a lot.

The little light popping sounds I hear make me think of someone starting to pop popcorn and I hear it giving a ping pong effect going from one ear to the other ear and back and forth again. Then the main synth has a chaotic rhythm that seems rather hard to keep up up with and I hear the use of Gross Beat later into the song, not bad at all.

The bass is smooth and sounds like an atmospheric piece being used to help build up the song. The drums are great and I like how it always starts with a drum kick before going on.

Overall, awesome song, I like it a lot, looking forward to future works.

That's actually a hi-hat - I have it playing a somewhat random rhythm between each ear, yeah. I can see how it'd sound like popcorn, though I was definitely not expecting anyone to think of that... o_o

Yep. Thanks, Gross Beat. What I did there was had 4 different Gross Beat rhythms going, switching between each of them with automations every measure.

Yep! :D That's exactly what it is. One absurdly massive pad used to back it up.

You got it! Already got another one in the RRC for that reason, and I'm planning to finish another one by next week.

This is really nice. And I wanted to give you a cookie for it.
But that bell type thingy from 00:28 to 00:51 and again later in the loop seemed a little uncomfortable with the other instruments that you used. Like putting hummus on... a mango. They are nice in their own rights, but together they're kinda unpleasant.
So its four and half stars.

I'm sorry you don't like the arabian-ish... bell? Well, whatever it is. I'm sorry you don't like that synth. :< I thought it was rather interesting, and hey, I like making things unique. Probably why I put carrots in my yogurt. To each their own though, I guess.
