This is my second attempt at Liquid D&B (basically synth-heavy D&B). Put this together in about 3 days, and I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. I know some parts could be a little tighter, and constructive criticism is always appreciated.
I usually have a problem with generic songs, and that's how it sounded at the beginning. But about a minute through, you start this wave thing that I can't get over. That was magical. Truly. And afterwards, you go straight back to generic D&B. I don't know if you intended it to happen like so, but it's a very well constructed piece. This is my third time listening to it.
Normally I would rate down for the un-originality, but this song came together nicely in the end.
Thanks! I'm still pretty new to doing d&b songs so I guess what sounds different to me may sound generic to some, but I see your point, and I appreciate the feedback. I usually try to switch things up in the middle to give the song a different feel and then go back to the beginning (or a modded version of the beginning) for finality, but yeah, I'd be lying if I said that the way the pieces came together was completely planned out. Glad that it seems to have worked out well, though. :)
