hi! this is a nice effort, do you take singing lessons? your voice is shaky in this one, so maybe a or more training will do good for you! Otherwise it would be pity, because you have a nice voice color! best greetings and wishes!
I had long yearned to sing this. Christo Tracey (Merlyne, my bandmate from Kingdom of Herts) had coaxed me to do this. I am now uploading this, and I find it fit because it will soon be QEII's Diamond Jubilee -- she will soon be celebrating 60 years on the throne.
This version is simple and has errors, and comes nowhere near the choirs of Westminster Cathedral and/or Westminster Abbey. But I know I poured my heart into this one.
Vocals recorded on Audacity with an integrated PC mic and mixed on FL Studio 10.

LYRICS:
I vow to thee, my country, all earthly things above,
Entire and whole and perfect, the service of my love;
The love that asks no question, the love that stands the test,
That lays upon the altar the dearest and the best;
The love that never falters, the love that pays the price,
The love that makes undaunted the final sacrifice.
And there's another country, I've heard of long ago,
Most dear to them that love her, most great to them that know;
We may not count her armies, we may not see her King;
Her fortress is a faithful heart, her pride is suffering;
And soul by soul and silently her shining bounds increase,
And her ways are ways of gentleness, and all her paths are peace.

Unfortunately, I don't. My voice is indeed shaky and training would be very, very much appreciated. I'm penniless, though, and I'm a student. : (
Thanks a lot for the review!
This is a nice remix of Holst's Jupiter. Very good.
Thank you! ^_^
Well i'm no judge of singing voices but i thought this sounded nice! The harmonization worked well and everything sounded in tune (which is always a positive). That said the recording wasn't that great quality, the slight reverb (pet peeve) was a little annoying and everything sounded a bit muffled. Still i always enjoy hearing people sing on the audio portal, it certainly takes more guts as i feel it bares the soul a little more. And thank you for baring yours, it was a lovely listen!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
