This is my favorite track from FF7. I wanted to spruce it up for these days as though the game was being re-released.
The original is based around 3 organs dancing around each other, so I replaced them with Electric guitars, added a better piano harmony and really brought the drums to life I think. Overall I just wanted to make this track more relevant, I'm happy with how it turned out :)
Note: This was not tracked with Midi bar the counter piano melody because I couldn't get that right. I listened to this like a 100 times to get it right ^^

Two things that bugged me, the first is the drums, I didnt dig the compression all that much, would have been better if you sped up the release or compressed the cymbals separately from the rest of the kit. The other thing was the lack of spacialization. It kind of makes sence for there to be a lack of panning effects since VG music back then was mono, but it would have been nice to get some spread.

I liked the instrument choices but the echo took away from the work. Great adaptation overall!
