My first go at trance! And also, a pseudo-apology to everyone who followed me expecting me to write epic music and then I kept doing dumb stuff instead. Enjoy! And play it loud!!! :D

Notes:
1. Omg that was fun.
2. 6:48 is over a minute longer than my previous winner. Done on purpose of course, because trance songs are always obnoxiously long =D. But we do get to explore a lot of space.
2. So much automation. *head explodes*
3. It's not really trance, it's more like trance-breakbeat -techno... but that's not a genre.
4. Those last two melodies were really hard to work out.
5. Every single instrument has been synthesized by me, except the percussion and exactly 1 of the saws. I'm starting to get better at this. I'm very pleased with e.g. the sounds around 3:40, they sound very legitimate.
6. I've been listening to a lot of Ulrich Schnauss... the breakbeat is definitely inspired by him. But he's generally too scared of writing a melody, which is not true of me. TAKE THAT ULRICH. j/k, you are way better than me at this stuff.

Fantastic.

johnfn responds:

Thank you! Always appreciated.

I like the "calmness" in this one :D. Gives me a feeling of running on an open field, being chased by a pack of wolfs D:. Im not much into trance/techno but i liked this piece :)

Keep it up

johnfn responds:

LOL. I don't think I would be calm if I was being chased by a pack of wolves. Thanks for the review!

johnfn responds:
