I like it, however the beginning sounds a little sharp for some reason, idk why.
But I have no other complaints. It's a nice song calming and reminds me of zelda a little bit.
Good work my friend
The second piece in what I want to call the 'Arcadia' line of music. Perhaps I'll come up with some fancy title for it like 'The Arcadian Chronicles' but who knows for the time being. This one in particular was meant to capture the subtle, mystifying and relaxing environment of a 'holy' place (fantasy based of course). All in all, it's a rather short song. If you have anything to say about the song, by all means let me know! I would really appreciate any feedback. :)

Hmm...I see what you mean by sharp. I used an 'Air Gamelan' from that 3.5Gb library and it is quite a sharp instrument, the bells were also a little sharp as well I think. Thanks for bringing that to my attention! I'm glad it reminds you of Zelda, even if just a bit! :D
Thanks for the review!
An interesting piece. Be careful how you program the flute, you can't play a flute in the same way you play a xylophone like in this, you'd be better off detaching the flute from the percussive instrument and letting it play the notes in a calmer fashion. It doesn't really fit in with the whole idea of the music at the moment either because of how crazy it is in the middle. Have you considered doing some more intricate sound work? Percussive instruments are awesome with long reverb tails and you can do some cool effects with that.
Other than that it's calming and mystical like you were looking to create so good job. (just don't call it "something Chronicles" because everyone does that. ;) )
Great point about the flute. I didn't even think about it in that way, so I'm really glad you pointed it out. You learn something new every day right? Also, I'll try experimenting with more reverb on my percussion!
As always, I appreciate the feedback man! Thanks a lot! :D
(I won't call it 'something Chronicles' don't worry hahaha! :D )
When I first started listening, I was not particularly impressed. But after 20 seconds or so of sticking with it, the song slowly starts to draw you in. Enjoyed it very much. The only thing I wonder about now is the replay value.
Ah, I'm glad the song was able to draw you in. It's fantastic that you enjoyed it! As for the replay value, I suppose that depends on the person listening. Thanks for listening and also for the review, it's really appreciated! :)
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
