It's not a terrible loop, honestly it makes me nostalgic for the audio portal of the Era. Since your still active on Newgrounds maybe you should make a new track and see how it stacks up.

I had a stroke and was hit in the head by a crowbar, taking out two specific regions of my brain:

but my other lobes were heightened.

Yeah I didn't know shit about music. I still don't. But I'm sure I could do better anyway. I don't make music anymore though. I only play classics on the piano.
has it's feel, eerie dark alley or eerie club scene, something dark and smooth and slick is about to go dowd, crit shots, lots of the line, nerves of steel S++ kind of assassin skill required to get out of this one, is what I can come up with.
Try the exact opposite next, smooth soft forest theme, something calm a breeze to listen to, it might help music wise. 5 for effort and a rick roll never give up with it ;)
