I too like the chords you use here. They're really creative and certainly portrays the description. It's quite dynamic too. The texture is too thick however to be considered proper 8-bit to me although I think it could work in an old point-and-click adventure game. It does sound like it's been wrote/played on a piano and then changed to a square wave and with note this thick it presents some phase issues and detracts from the harmony. Good, but could work better with a different timbre.

So i was thinking, my past me is dead, not a cell of its body and mind remains in this world, and though i might (or might not have seeing as im a different person) have been this being before i can now only look back at pictures movies and memories of that past me.
I wonder if my future me thinks of my present me the same way.
I mean im here but im not cause i keep going forward untill my future me looks back and declared me dead.
Then again the me who wrote the above is dead already aswell.
So my future me might know, soley.
i think its impossible to exist and thus move in time anyway, we have to be reminiscing our lives from another ultimate position.
2023 edit: I declare you dead, the future is great' my past self. ;)

i know my 8bit isnt always the actual thing but i just prefer to compose whole orchestrations with chip plugins because the soundtype lends itself so well for accuracy. :)
