So I now know how to use parallel compression on my kicks and sidechain my drums, thanks to a good friend of mine. With this new knowledge, I decided to go back and remaster a few of my favorite tracks, just to see what they'd sound like if I had the knowledge (and programs) back when I originally made the tracks.
