Nice vocals, original ideas, I had to listen until the end.
I wish it had a better mix, something that gave it that finished polish it rightly deserves, which is why it lost a star, but otherwise really great work guys. :)
HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!
I'm proud to present to you the greatest "bro-ject" ever made by your dear fellows Douma and TKay.
With vocals from both of us, guitar recordings from Dom and some FL Studio magic from me.
We'd be happy if we can read some reviews since this thing took forever..r...r.....r. =)
Enjoy!
---------------
I had some "technical difficulties" uploading this song so if your frontpage got spammed with deleted submissions I'm very sorry for that.

Thank you a lot for that review!
It was a hard one for my partner since he's kind of a perfectionist and that makes guitar recording a pain in the a**. But we hope for the best and think it was worth the time. =)
I'm digging this my man! It definitely has a high level of creativity and a timbre of its own. I vote that you guys work on an EP or a full-length together because I'm more than certain that you two could write some great music if this is any hint of how it may sound. I'm going to have to second that Gorillaz comparison but your own sound shines through beautifully. The piano portion toward the middle is magnificent.
These are some very kind words, thanks a lot! "EP or a full-length together" sure that would be great!
To be honest we didn't even meet yet - it has all been about sharing, adding to each others stuff, calling in skype and so on. But we're planning to meet soon and even create a whole song in that short time.
Thanks again! We're still working on new projects so stay tuned for more. =)
It sounds like a mix of the Gorillaz and Sum 41. You guys clearly know how to make a creative song. There are some things about this I personally don't enjoy, but the structure and flow were so perfectly executed that I could ignore all of that and still love it.
This song gets my full respect.
Thanks for appreciating the effort we had with this project, it feels good to have it completed and "save" on newgrounds. ;)
We tried to change the melody whenever we thought that it's going to be annoying or repetitive to us.
Thank you again! =)
I like it :) It sounds very 90's.
I love the mix between the synths and the guitar.
What do you use to record? I only have Logitech headphones.
For the vocals we used a RODE NT1-A and an Astro A40 Headset, the guitar is recorded through the electric guitar cable (in the program audacity) and the piano and everything else is done in FLS.
We're glad you like the song! =)
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
