This is my take on the Overworld theme (by the name of Isle O Hags) from the second installment in the Banjo Kazooie series: Banjo-Tooie.
I always ALWAYS enjoyed listening to this song. I deeply admire Grant Kirkhope's music style and his ability to use chromatic progressions so smoothly and with pizazz. So when I decided to do this song, needless to say, it was a great personal challenge to make something that (in my opinion) would even hold a candle to the amazing talents of Mr. Kirkhope. I hope that you guys enjoy the version I have created, throwing in a little Grunty's theme and whatnot. R&R is always appreciated, as it helps me grow as a composer. Oh, and thanks again for listening! ^_^
(Obviously, I don't own any rights to Banjo Tooie or any of Grant Kirkhope's music. But I did spend a lot of time on this mix (so don't steal please!))

Lol thanks ^_^ I find myself listening to these soundtracks (Kazooie and Tooie) more often than a normal person would be willing to admit. 9 times out of 10, I'm, "well, that's my next Saturday ;)"
Glad you enjoyed it ^_^
We don't get much from you, but what we do is gold. Glad to see we have similar tastes in composers. This was fantastic. I won't say it's better than the original, since comparing an original with a remix tends to be comparing apples to oranges, but regardless, I think Kirkhope would be quite pleased.
Thank you so much ^_^ And I completely agree. I definitely keep that same ideal in mind when reviewing other people's work. It really is hard to compare remixes to originals because, when you think about it, people usually choose to remix something, or are inspired to remix something, because the piece was amazing or touched them in some way :P
Thank you so much for the awesome review. :)
Something's strange.. It sounds more.. Weird than the original song.
But, anyway. I love it !
lol The original is a marvel to be had ^_^ With synths instead of instrument synths it does kinda add a whole new edge to the piece. Thanks for the review :) I'm glad you liked the piece
Awesome take of an awesome piece of music. Great job!
Thanks ^_^ I'm glad you enjoyed it :P
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
