Good track. It sounded a little similar to some of your other work, but after listening to it a couple of times I notice how different it is. Nice sounds, I have to say. Each one of your instruments sounds awesome! The intro was very nice, and was not too long. The transition to the sitar was smooth, and I liked how you combined that with the synth; that worked perfectly! They worked very well together. The next transition was again smooth, I guess I don't have to keep saying that anymore lol. The strings after that seemed kind of generic, it was the one instrument I wasn't as impressed with.
After that right at 2:45 was quite nice. Very nice! It did not last too long without more variety added later at 3:13-ish. That portion didn't last too long either, though. Bringing back the sitar at 3:40 worked awesome-ly! Again, I guess I have heard those same strings in many of your other songs, but they sounded kind of awkward. Maybe, too loud? The main (and pretty much only) problem I have with the song are those strings, to be honest.
Nice outro as well, very nice transitions and smooth, smooth!
I am sure you can already guess I am not a musical expert. But, listening to this song was very enjoyable. There is a great deal of variety in this track. There aren't many parts that go on too long, even though they sound awesome. There was one section at 2:18 that should only have gone on for two bars, I think, rather than 4. It was sort of boring and it went on for about 30 seconds. Only certain specific parts were like that, though. The rest of the song varies like a boss.
I liked the integration of the sitar into the rest of the techno. I know sometimes songs have foreign instruments sort of 'sitting on top', but this one was well blended. I might have liked more of that particular instrument (sitar) and the other Indian/non-techno instruments. It would have been great to have the sitar be in the main melody rather than in and out, but again it still works great the way it is.
Over-all, this is a great song! It is enjoyable to listen to for me, and I will listen to it more than once after this review, to be sure. I think it could be even better than it is now, but seriously nice work! Great job!
