Here's a new WIP I have been working with. It's obviously still in the beginning stages and pretty rough, but I mixed it slightly for your enjoyment :).
Anyways, I hope you enjoy my unfinished song. All critiques are welcome and encouraged!
Step 1: Polish the Beginning, it is too abrupt right now I think.
Step 2: Continue the progression.
Step 3: Find out how to end it.
Step 4: Finish the mastering and perform neccessary polishing.
Step 5: Dance.
Step 6: Eat Muffin.
Step 7: Upload the finished product and nervously wait for reviews.
PS.: Newgrounds, You need more Genres! Please! My music does not fit amongst the currently selectable genres! Don't get mad... I'm gonna put this one in... um... House? Crap I don't know. Don't yell at me.

So I have to say this was nice and different not what you normally find in the portal but I did find it to be pretty interesting and fun to review I love the vibe and vibrant of sounds that are comming out and seems like it's a work in progress but would love a finished product so very nice work here very nice indeed so as improvement just finish it up sometime

Ooohhh It will take a long time, haha. This is way outside of my comfort zone. But I will do my best to finish this, I think it will be a nice step forward for me. :)
I like the flow in this, the pace and melody, but the sound feels way too sharp. Some more ambient instrument/pitch seems to me would sound much better combined with the overall very ambient experience. As for the points you bring up, I like the beginning, it starts off directly, but it still fades in, no fuzz. With a more ambient instrument/pitch, the first time the instrument kicks in it also wouldn't seem so sharp. At times it is a bit slow, maybe speed it up a bit? As for an end, how about a short solo and then just... fade away. This really doesn't sound like house, I'd sort it as Ambient or New Wave, or Experimental/Misc. There are plenty of sub-genres to the existing genres, but listing them all would make it a pain to browse through. Anyway, nice track. Keep it going!
