She was an amazing friend. I loved her more than she could ever know. I've got to tell her before she leaves...she can't leave...not now, not yet...it's too soon...

Time freezes. The epiphany stabs both of us in the heart because it's too late to stop what's happening. She's leaving. She's being swept away.
The sun has set.

And now she's gone.
