This one is a bit different from the stuff I usually make, and it was a challenge for me. A battle-charged yet tactically minded cinematic piece. It was made for a foresty, ambush battle film of one of my best friends. Hope you enjoy it!
This was intense
I most loved it from 00:28 ish to 00:48 ish sp,e really beautiful playing you had in this, the rest the start and end was really good too but you showcased a strong middle with some intense playing and sound and for me that was a real vibe on things, so for me this was a plus and a great theme of this vibe of a tune, So nice work indeed and hope you make even more.

I agree that the solo guitar was a little rando but fits really well with the overall feel, great work :D

I like the mood and instruments, as well as the LFO effects at around :10-:20. The transition into :33 was nice and gradual, but it could've used some more substance just to keep it engaging. I also thought that it felt structurally incomplete. I could see this turned into a very complex 5-minute-long chase sort of piece. I was waiting for the strings/horns/edgy guitars to come in full-strength, but it just ended there! Still, I like the percussion and the drama. Nice work! :D Oh, and "Gradient" made the front page if you hadn't already noticed. I knew you had another hit there, Lockyn! ;D
Hey! It does feel incomplete, it doesn't help that you are listening to it alone without the movie xD I don't think I can do much more with this piece with my current skill. Super cinematic and atmospheric. I could hear this in a massive-budget movie and never realise it's from Newgrounds.
The guitar feels a bit out of place when it first comes in, but it works as part of the tune later on. You've done well considering this sounds so far out of your usual style!
