I've always liked Gene Gadget's music. Never really cared for the game it was in, though. Sonic 3D Blast was an attempt at putting Sonic into a 3D environment, which just wasn't a good idea at the time. The game's music, however, has stuck with me.
I got bored today and made this. The melody instruments are not ripped from anywhere, rather, I made them myself. I wanted to see what I could do with 64-length samples. There's a square wave, a sine-ish wave, a saw (?) wave, and a house-shaped wave. There are also 3 drum samples from an 8-bit soundfont I found somewhere. I had to amplify a couple of them so they would be audible.
I don't think I have anything else relevant to say here. Here's hoping someone enjoys this.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
