Hey RyeGuy,
I just listened to this again for the first time in like 6 years, it felt nostalgic as hell. We should do something like this again soon. <3
I wrote this tune for a songwriting class a few years ago.
LadyArsenic provided the vocals for it a few days ago.
The rest is history.
(instrumental intro)
Amidst the mountain side
Beams of light cloud my eyes (it's no surprise)
Legs fall like the finest of wines
Flowing through different phases of time
Rain spawns from out of icy air
Howling winds can lead anywhere
Stop to think, and become aware
Uncertainty is a powerless affair
(instrumental interlude)
Stop to think, and become aware
Uncertainty is a powerless affair
(instrumental outro)
- Big shout out to the lovely LadyArsenic for bringing this song to life. Check her out!!! -

Always appreciate a good blast from the past!
There’s a couple new tunes I’ve been flirting wit lyrics on; if anything comes to them, I’ll be sure to give you a shout :D
Very nice
The vocals are really nice and the background sounds really make it work and all of it together are a huge plus I always like the two sources getting together to do something like this and you two are doing great he some very good quality
~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
Good quality no need for any improvements it's already really good
~X~
The way it all came together was pretty legendary
Thanks for the review :D
-- there's always things I'd want to do differently instrumentally / production-wise after I upload...just gotta let go sometimes.
I LOVE the whole vibe of this song!
The vibe is righteous
This was beautiful, an ambient melody to back up a powerful vocal venture, the different vocal layers work well at giving it some kind of otherworldly touch, style reminds me a bit of Hania. Btw, who wrote the lyrics, is that LadyArsenic as well? It's nice, poetically atmospheric. Feels like you could've used that musical solo space for something more pompous, but it's great as it is too, subtle and consistent. Nice work!
I composed everything (including the lyrics). LadyArsenic added her flare to my original vocal melody and really took the song to another level.
Glad you liked it. Thanks for the review!
Very relaxed song. Maybe a tad bit repetitive when the vocals aren't playing - maybe throw in some sort of solo? Not sure if you've heard Zircon's "Just Hold On", but this is very reminiscent of that. Seeing as I absolutely love that song, this song is high up on my charts.
also the vocal harmonization is just gravy.
The synth lead during the interlude / instrumentals could definitely be a bit more pronounced. Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks for the review, glad you liked it :D
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
