The Haunting (loop)

This would work great as a menu loop in a mystery/horror game. Feel free to use it as long as you give me credit. :)

The haunting tune paired with a subtle amount of suspense and an underlying tone of sadness really gives off an aura of unease and uncertainty. One that can typically be found in high quality horror games such as the Silent Hill franchise.

I'm guessing they were a huge inspiration in creating this song?

BlazingDragon responds:

I've actually never played that series, although I am familiar with it. This tune just came from some improvising around the mood I was in at the time, and then sdding in some other sounds.

Thank you!

Absolutely amazing! You wouldn't have some sort of sheet music or MIDI file that you're willing to share would you? This would be fun to learn on piano :D

BlazingDragon responds:

Unfortunately not. Like most of my pieces, this is basically just an improvisation that is edited and combined with a few other instruments. Because that is my process, I don't write anything down. My pieces usually are the result of one long session.

Can hear the clock at the end.

BlazingDragon responds:

The "clock" sound is actually from the inside of a piano being lightly struck with an object, if my memory serves correctly. B) Anyway, it's intentional.

This is a simply enchanting piece.

I can seriously imagine it as I'm playing a horror puzzle game... anybody think of Witch's House? >__<

Great work again. I can tell I'm going to be spending loads of time on your profile ;D

5/5 10/10 favorited and all that jazz. Cheers!

BlazingDragon responds:

Thank you so much! It's kind of funny, because I put this together in an hour or so and was afraid to post it because I thought it wouldn't be well received. Then it skyrocketed in views over night. o_o

I'll have to do more work in this genre. XD

Amazing. This would even be good for an independent horror film. Definitely sticking around for whatever you release in the future.

BlazingDragon responds:

Thanks man. I really appreciate the your comment. :)
