Traveling is a wondrous endeavor, but there is sweetness and respite in coming home.

Pretty nice job. What a lovely mood you are creating here. You did chose the reverb settings and velocities very well. Also i can see a lot of nice details in there. Maybe the tag "bittersweet" doesnt really fit. It felt a little bit melancholic to me, but also the happyness to be back home again. The only thing i would change is to insert some midpart which brings in some more variety. But maybe thats just my personal taste.
Overall great job. Hope you will submit more piano stuff here. We pianists are quite rare in NG :D

You've got a good point. A contrasting midpart would add a bit more interest. I often try to focus on structure as I improvise, but that went out the window with this one.
I typically improvise in the key of C, so the mental energy that might normally be spent on form went to avoiding wrong notes in this Db improv. xD

Another amazingly beautiful song. I don't think I can find words to describe how touching and moving your works are to me. Someone needs to use this in a movie or something. It is very powerful and tender. Awesome! Keep it up! :D
