I just got the Henle edition of all the Chopin mazurkas, yay! Expect to see more mazurkas (and waltzes and nocturnes, once I finally settle on ones to work on - I kind of half-know half the waltzes and a quarter of the nocturnes) soon.
I chose this one to record first, not because it is technically the easiest (most of the mazurkas are technically easy anyway, although some - like No. 6 - pose some musical challenges) but because it's brief, festive, and, well, easy to read (few accidentals + C major + simple accompaniment = easy sight-reading).
BTW, you may have noticed by now, but I never observe repeats. I'm lazy. :P
P.S. sorry about the sound quality - I completely forgot to put the recorder farther away from the piano...
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
