Secret between you and me: when I do these "Retro" versions of my tracks, I try to limit the active channels to 3, leaving 1 just for percussion. Working with only 4 channels gives it that old GB/Fami feel.
Even if you're a RetroMix, you're fun to listen to. Do your best, as always!
