just for records.. these days I've been focusing on making sounds that "dance" and what I mean by that is that all sounds have some movement.. whether that be delay, or some morphing, tremolo, something rhythmic that maybe you can't really hear but I'm finding that it makes a big difference... how humans pick up those small details is really interesting.
