Update 1: I've polished the guitars subtly (I retracked the rhythm and panned both tracks apart + re-positioned the panning on lead)

A thematic piece for a fantasy animation. It's still a work in progress, this is kind of abridged (I have written more material for it but I decided to try recording an abridged verison first) and I'd really appreciate feedback.
Guitar and bass were recorded with my Line6 POD HD500X.
I used Kontakt strings for the staccato strings, although I do think they are delayed by a few miliseconds. (But my other VSTs were in time, has anybody else had this issue with Kontakt?)
I am new to mixing, EQing, multiband compression and so on with my own recorded instruments, so I emplore all of you to come at me with your most constructive critiques! :)
I love me some J-Rock. You have no idea, haha! This is great. I could hear it with some Japanese lyrics and a cool anime intro playing!
