Grabbed my acoustic geetar today. (yes, I has one) and played it. Added vocals, and electric guitar. But more in an experimental way....anyways....this is the shit I did.
Enjoy

NEEEEVVVVVVERRRRR say never. I doubt I could make a banjo cool, though. You can play cool songs on a banjo, like that acdc cover those dudes did on youtube. Good talent, but ruined the song for me. hahaha. Never really liked the sound of a banjo.
p.s.
Miss ya, Schleify. haha.
OOO Nice stuff man, sweet geetah tone, took me to the desert this, I love it man... would be excellent as a movie intro track during a montage.
Thanks mang! Acoustic guitars. What should I calm down with next? Banjo? hahaha. Cheers brother.
some really nice melodies going on here mate, and the vocal harmonies sound sick.
good production as always.. though thats barely even mentioning at this point :P
Cheers mang! glad you dug!!
I love the tits tag!
Only 4.5 stars because I didn't get that WOW I never heard such awesome music feel. It ends a bit too abrupt for my taste.
It's a great Song though!
Cool man. Glad you dig. Tits are the TITS! ( * )( * ) ( o )( o )
I love the clarity and clean sound you have here! Experimenting is such fun!
It would be nice to see a list of gear and equipment/software.
I personally would love to garner some insight as to how you get a sound like that!
I am running hardware for all the processes and at 96Khz sampling it starts to boggle me..
Love the piece! Very soothing!

Cheers man. Equipment used:
Washburn acoustic electric, recorded by a shure sm 58 mic with the mesh ball removed, that was plugged into my pod x3 live.
Same with the vocals. The acoustic leads were recorded from the same guitar, plugged directly into my pod x3 live.
The electric guitar was my kids' fender guitar as his the only other guitar in the house that is in standard tuning ( outside of my acoustic). All my guitars are in b and or c. This was also plugged into the pod x3 live.
The pod is USB'd into a computer running xp and recorded directly into cool edit pro. Nothing else.
Cheers for the listen and review!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
