Something I whipped together directly on the keyboard. That's why the drums are a bit iffy in some parts. Also that's the reason why it's pretty short. It's hard to keep consistent when you know one screw-up means you have to redo the whole thing.

It feels like the classic 4-chord I-V-IV-VI progression; it sounds wonderful though!
It not only feels like it, that is exactly what it is. Well, I'm not sure about the progression you mentioned, but I do know that the chord progression I used is very common. Influence from other sources weigh heavily on anyone trying to compose something original. It's usually better to stick to progressions people recognize, I mean that's how you get songs stuck on your head to begin with.
