interesting. I have a yeti pro microphone. I think it just has a usb so I don't think ive ever used a mixer of sfx editor like you have. i'm looking at getting a motif xf professional piano but they're $2000...
Regret doesn't always come in high definition.
Listen to this while you stare at the picture which inspired it:

I also have the Yeti! I only used the mixer (which was busted, salvaged and old) to run the piano through (which I barely knew how to play). There were probably a million easier ways to do this, but I wanted to experiment at the time. Still one of my favorite audio pieces I've done though.
You don't need to spend big money to get into things, trust me. I mean, I'm notoriously a huge cheapskate and that's probably damaged some opportunities for me, but you can do a lot with a little so don't worry!
Thanks for listening!
I thought it was alright but I didn't quite like the quality at first, however when I saw the picture my mind was changed completely. Really gets you in the atmosphere, well done.
Fuck yeah, thanks!
Oh god, this is beautiful.
Kudos to you once again, SirUndead. Just curious, did you do the Max Payne voice here, or did you just pick a few voice clips from Max Payne 3 and pixelated them?
Anyways, this is amazing. Great work, man!
Hah, no, thanks for the compliment, but it was indeed my own voice. I also shittily played a shitty electric piano through a half-busted mixer for the music, then just ran it all through SFX for that retro sound.
The piano itself has a few different instruments I used, some of which sound like video game stuff. Although one on there was just piano and the last one was just organ, but again, run through sound effects for the more retro noise. Also because the recording quality was extremely poor and messed up, sound effects were a gift which made it passable at all.
Appreciated!

Gyehehehgphfsnort do u get it
The one thing I hate about the Newgrounds review system is you can't edit or delete anything. It's just permanently carved into history. I hate that.
Until right now. Right now I love it.
Like a bottle of scotch on sale, I get it.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
