This song is really pretty! ^_^ I love how the piano starts out in the beginning with those mellow tones. I am wondering though if you recorded the piano parts separate of the accompaniment? I only ask since it sounds so different/”synth-y” compared to the piano parts of the melody. They blend better together as the song goes on though. :) All around great piece in my opinion, especially if this isn’t your usual style. :D

This piece I did for a trailer from a friend of mine. It was supposed to be just piano and strings. It´s partly variation from a piano piece I did recently. It´s far out of my comfort zone actually. If somebody got some input here this would be nice. I know it´s very simple, a bit generic, I didn´t use a lot of chords and didn´t modulate, etc. But...

Hmmm strange... It´s actually the same piano all the time and not a synth actually. Maybe it sounds a bit like that because I used very tough compression and at the beginning the notes are played very mellow and soft, so they would be much more quiet without the compression... I should have a look at this ;) Glad you like it!
Beautiful piece really, reminds me a lot of Ludovico Einaudi- personally I often prefer simplicity, minimalism/holy minimalism and all that- the ending was kind of abrupt, but I guess that has to do with the limitations of it having to the trailer etc

Thanks a lot! Yep, minimal music gave me a lot inspiration for this one! I don´t know Ludovico but I will have a look at him (and listen)! Yep the end is also the end of the trailer and it was supposed to slow down that aprupt. I guess in the final mix it will be faded out anyway.
