I enjoyed the thought process I went through to create this theme. It took me about five whole days to even begin messing around on the piano. This is because I wasn't sure what kind of dungeon-y feel I wanted right off the bat. I spent five whole days literally listening to a ton of different RPG dungeon themes. On the sixth day I messed around on the piano for the day and by around 11pm I had come up with this somewhat hopeful melody. On the seventh day I began to work. After laying down the support harp and piano harmony all the other instruments just naturally fell into place as I felt out the rest of the song. I gave the Oboe the main role of the main melody and then had the Brass support behind it to add to the mystery. In the end, this is the finished result. From my peers and a fellow composer, this song sounds like it would be placed in a forgotten castle of some sorts. Doesn't it sound mysterious?

This was my first attempt at an actual loop-able game theme as I wish to compose for videogames. I'll pretty much be uploading more of these on here for everyone to listen and, if they want, to use as well.
