you should listen to Infected Mushroom - Stretched. they pull off that fading effect with an unimaginable degree of badassitude.

I've always liked your instrumentation, but I don't know if I've ever pointed that out. That pad you brought in when the bass was all lonely in the middle of the song was pretty awesome. Nice bell melody to drag the song further into the part of my brain that is all sticky...
